My Latest Single 'All Said and Done'.

Recorded, Mixed and Mastered with one of Ryan’s best mates and producer Sam Wilson at Sam’s very own studio. The pair have developed an outstanding working relationship which can be heard in all of Ryan and Sam's collaborations so far.

‘All Said and Done’ is the fifth single from Ryan and the fourth that the pair have worked on together so far.

After stepping up a gear production wise and song writing wise with the previous single ‘Late’, Ryan has definitely kept those standards up with this one, another massive sing-along chorus awaits you after some powerful verses, in which Ryan has taken a darker approach with the lyrics.

“I can’t help or shake the feeling I’ll wake up one day, in the same job, in the same house, in the same place”

The lyrics are about being lost in your early 20’s not really knowing what you’re going to do with your life and the sudden dread that comes with that. It’s not all doom and gloom for Ryan in this tune though as the Chorus is very uplifting not only Lyrically but in sound as well compared to the Verses.

“When it’s All Said and Done, it’ll be me and you, at the end of the day it’ll be the making of us”

The opening chorus line gives a glimmer of hope through the rain as he sings about the hard times being the making of him and his partner and how at the end of the day it’ll all work out for the pair of them.

The reason this single is so unique is because of its sudden change of pace after the second chorus. The idea behind this stemmed when Ryan finished the first demo and he decided the track needed something different. After scrolling through some old voice notes, he stumbled across an unfinished song idea which is now the bridge section in ‘All Said and Done’.

With the help of some delicate guitar work from producer Sam and an incredible Saxophone solo from Dylan Levett (Mojique) they managed to pull off one of the most daring and unique changes Ryan has ever put in a tune.
